As you may or may not have noticed, a lot of the photo galleries are now missing.  I decided to change the software for these galleries, which unfortunately requires that I re-upload all of my photos.  I am slowly doing so, and eventually all my past photos will be back online.  At the time of this post, I have uploaded everything to the end of 2006, but still have many, many, many more to do.

First off, I would like to sincerely apologize for remaining out of contact for such a long time… Unfortunately, Egypt hates me and does not want me to have reliable access to the Internet. Because of the lack of ease setting up DSL at my apartment, I have been reduced to only being able to access the Internet at cafés and on campus. Additionally adding to my internet woes, every time I can manage to get a connection it is so slow that I would rather stab myself in the foot with a dull spoon than continue to try to use it…

But rather than continue on bitching, I will depart for now, but I promise that as soon as I do have either access to the Internet in my apartment, or a connection that doesn’t resemble the speed of tortoise migration, I post the pictures and tell the stories of traveling with Paul through London, Amsterdam, and Upper Egypt.

Again, I apologize for the long delay since my last post, and for the long delay that will inevitably follow this one. I miss you all, and I will post again as soon as I am able.

You will most likely notice sooner or later, that the gallery has been changed. Last night I did a major update to the gallery, because I started receiving comment spam. I was hoping to be able to prevent it in the newer version, but alas, I was not. Since I could not find a way to put a stop to the comment spam on pictures, I have turned off that feature. However, you can still post comments on blog articles. Also, enjoy the new rating system I added, now you can rate my photos on a scale of 1-5 stars.
