It shows up like a text (which I have set to say I have received a new mail from <from address>). I can't find a way to trigger a pull, so I set my mail to manually pull (since mail pulls whenever you open it). But the nice thing is, it will stay on the screen till I clear it, or it gets replaced. I've been using the system for about 3 days now, and honestly, it's a bit more useful that the iPhone just increasing the number on the mail icon.

Nice. How does the notification work with mail? Does it show up as a text like notifiication? Or can it actually trigger mail to pull the message?
