While sitting in a coffee shop here in Cairo, I realized I haven’t really spoken with any of my friends and family in quite a long time. So I figured, now would be as good a time as any to give everyone a quick update on the past few months of my life.
Unfortunately, I am still fighting with the DSL companies here in order to get my internet access set up. They tell me that I will be online by Sunday, but I’m not holding my breath seeing as they consistently fail to follow-thru with their proposed plans.
Other than the constant fighting about getting internet access, not much else has been going on. Lately, all I have really been doing is going to school, studying, occasionally have some coffee with friends, but nothing too special to speak of. Anyways, I’m basically just rambling at this point, so I will return to my homework, and will look forward to your emails in the future.

Enjoy!

It’s good to learn you are spending more time actually studying.(:-).
I just reviewed your Hawaii pictures. Some of them are really good.
Seems like Fall has arrived early this year. Yesterday, there was pouring rain as I drove back from Vacaville, and there was some light precip during the night in Davis.
Over the weekend, Grampa and I drove to Jackson and Mono Lake to view the foliage change in the High Country. The birds have already migrated from Mono Lake. We’ll have to plan to be there in the spring next time.
We had quite a windstorm last week, Grampa has been restocking our fireplace woodpile from the big downed trees at
Slatter’s. I think there is enough wood to restock your Mom’s, Aunt Lise’s and Uncle Doran’s as well.

Yeah, but at least we get to chat from time to time…. my students think that is just “too cool.” that I chat with my friend in Egypt. We’ll make up for your time in Egypt with some ancient greek when you get back or the summer! later dude.
