I’m sinking further down into the seas of despair
Loosing control of my emotions
And increasingly feeling that I am lost
I’m starting to think that I will never find my way
I’m starting to realize that I must leave the world I know
But as my time comes closer for my way out
The inadequacies that I feel seem to grow
And as the time slips by,

My wounds only seem to grow,
And multiply…

The darkness of night brings a familiar cold
Spend the bright days of pain in slumber
The only joy to find is in the fall of the sun
Knowing that one more day has now passed
The wonder is how many more must you endure
The goal is only to keep making them pass
The glaring sun only reminds of love lost
And the cold darkness comforts familiar feelings
Will the days ever be enjoyed again,
And will there ever be another love?
Will there ever be love again,
Or will life continue as a bitter pain?

My destiny is to fight an endless battle
Filled with fear and pain
I’ll never see the light
The nights consume my days
And force me to hide from truth
With an intoxicating feeling I’m able to move on
I’ll never again feel the warmth
For my pain has shown to be my fate.
